Starting at 6:30pm, we'll have free food sponsored by Arbormoon Software, Inc (http://www.arbormoon.com). Please RSVP to help us estimate how much food we need. While you are enjoying the food, talk with other developers and network in the local Cocoa community.
Our main meeting will start at 7pm and will feature a talk by Matt Braun on ARKit. Since Apple introduced ARKit at this year's WWDC, Matt has been working on a side project making an educational augmented reality app for schools and families. Matt will share a bit about the app, what he and his partner learned about the state of AR, and how to quickly get up and running with ARKit.
Matt Braun is an independent app developer in Toledo, Ohio. Originally a Flash designer/developer, he released his first iPhone app - MASH - in early 2009. Matt also made one of the first Apple TV games – SketchParty TV – and one of the first iMessage apps - Truth Truth Lie – both featured by Apple. Aside from making his own iOS apps, Matt is a husband and father of four, as well as a senior iOS consultant for large companies and startups.
