a2go Inaugural Meeting and Workshop

Welcome to the first meeting of a2go, Ann Arbor's go meetup!

We'll be getting to know each other and working on learning the language together. No prior experience in Go is necessary, though some understanding of computer programming is beneficial (1). If you are already familiar with the language, please come as well and help out. We encourage you to bring your laptop but if you don't have one, that is OK; you can pair with someone.

• 6pm meet and greet, food from Jerusalem Garden provided by Openly
• 6:30 Begin meeting with the following agenda:

• Lightning Talk: What is A2Go and why are we here?
• Meet and Greet: Who are we?
• Let's get Go installed on your computer
• Study group

• 8:00-? adjourn somewhere TBD nearby for socializing (Code of conduct extends to our after meeting activities. Be a kind human.)

(1) If you are new to computer programming, you are still VERY welcome. Please find an organizer and we can provide extra help. Go is a great first language!
