Monthly Meeting

Welcome to the second meeting of a2go, Ann Arbor's go meetup!

We'll be building off of what we learned last month and growing our community. No prior experience in Go is necessary, though some understanding of computer programming is beneficial (1).

• 6pm: meet and greet, food
• 6:30: Lightning talk -- Modules in Go
• 6:45: Hands-on workshop -- you will build a small command line tool that queries an external API. We provide the tests; you make them pass. Pairing encouraged!
• 8:00-? Drinks at Ann Arbor Brewing Company (Code of conduct extends to our after meeting activities. Be a kind human.)

(1) If you are new to computer programming, you are still VERY welcome. Please find an organizer and we can provide extra help. Go is a great first language!
