What we're about

We are a diverse group of runners of all abilities and experience levels. If you are looking for social group runs to meet other runners, long distance training, speed, trail and/or track workouts along with local races and events to be involved with, you've found the right place. We also plan social gatherings to get to know one another and have fun. We are a volunteer-run group led by runners just like yourself. Let's run, Ann Arbor!

We want to make it easy for our members to attend our events, we take care of filling up the calendar - all you do is RSVP and show up! You can attend as much, or as little as you’d like each month. If you feel like you never have anyone to do anything with, you can automatically a weekly event with us.

We are back to running! (with social distancing) From the governor - "Outdoor social gatherings and events among persons not part of a single household are permitted, but only to the extent that: The gathering or event does not exceed 100 people, and People not part of the same household maintain six feet of distance from one another." So we are still refraining from giving high-fives, etc. for now. As the water fountains have been turned off, please bring your own water (or whatever beverage you prefer) for after. You can store it in a vehicle or hide it behind a tree near the meeting point. You may also want to bring a snack for yourself, e.g. candy, fruit, a granola bar. The typical route is roughly a 10k (6.2-ish miles). Most runners currently in the group average 8-10 minutes a mile, but all are welcome. If you think you might not be able to keep up, look over the route so we don't have anyone getting lost! Check out the route in the link below. There are options to run less by taking a shortcut back. https://www.strava.com/routes/6308501 You can find us in the parking lot just north of the wooden 1-lane bridge - see the pin on the map. We'll be setting off at about 6:35pm. If you sign up but expect to be a few minutes late, please leave a comment on the meetup and we can wait a little if necessary.
