We are going to visit this stunning area combining Hiking, Biking & Yoga.
We usually have 2-3 hike leaders on each trip and 2-3 organised hikes/walks on every day with different length and pace, members may choose their routes according to their fitness and abilities.
There will be challenging enough or relaxed if you wish, for everyone. The routes are confirmed in the morning on a day, taking the latest weather broadcast into consideration.

Pemrokeshire is the only National Park that is almost entirely coastal.
Soaring sea cliffs, long miles of golden sand, brooding hills and moorlands – the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park really does have enough scenery and atmosphere to please almost even the most discerning visitor.
Add in a touch of history and mysterious Celtic legend and you have an area that truly deserves the accolade, recently awarded by National Geographic Magazine, of being the second best coastal destination in the world.
There are many who would say that the Park is worthy of the very top spot, not just second place – a point of view it's hard to ignore.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail twists and turns its way through 186 miles of the most breathtaking coastal scenery in Britain.
From St Dogmaels in the north to Amroth in the south, the trail covers almost every kind of maritime landscape from rugged cliff tops and sheltered coves to wide-open beaches and winding estuaries.
YOGA
Hiking and Yoga is a great combination, we have had a few weekends in the past and they proved to be very popular.

Yoga can be fun and a very beneficial physical and mental work out.
Any level is welcome, classes will be tailored and suitable for the beginners and the advanced yoga practitioners as well.
Maintaining a supple body and peaceful mind is essential for our well being.
We will have 2 qualified yoga instructors on this trip to be able to spread the group into 2 different rooms

You may have a single room for £49 or a twin bunk room for £69 extra for the weekend. Please email to aaalondongroup@yahoo.co.uk if you are interested.
HIKES
There will be a minimum of 2-3 very capable hike leaders on this weekend, both with extensive navigational and leading experience and trained in wilderness first aid.
The choice of hikes will differ in distance and toughness and we usually aim to have no more than 20 people per hike. This ensures that the groups are not left waiting for long periods whilst the 40th person catches up.
Usually you can expect the shorter of the hikes to be around 10 miles / 16km and the longer hike to be 16 miles / 25 km plus. This will vary according to the terrain and ascents.

AAA choose not to repeat the same hikes from previous trips, we also choose not to publish our hikes in advance, although we usually plan them ahead of the weekend. We will take into account our own local knowledge and that of the locals, along with the weather conditions, prior to announcing the hike options available.

We are passionate about hiking and experienced navigators as such we don’t need to repeat the same hikes on the same weekends.

FOOD
AAA food quality has become well known within the Hiking Meetup community. We typically greet you with homemade soup, served with cold meats, cheese and bread on your arrival on Friday night, topped off with Misha’s signature Banana Walnut cake.
Here you may see AAA LG cake selection from the past trips. (https://www.facebook.com/pg/AAALondonGroup/photos/?tab=album&album_id=509122415954721)
Even if you’re not a fan of porridge, you’re guaranteed to be tempted by Misha’s famous hearty porridge with fresh fruit salad, nuts and honey at breakfast. There’s nothing like a steaming bowl of creamy porridge with a handful of crunchy flaked almonds and juicy sweet blueberries to start your day of intensive hiking! Breakfast is, of course, the most important meal of the day, so you can further enjoy sausages and eggs, freshly brewed coffee and juice, with cereals, yoghurt and other food being also available.
We believe your packed lunch is a personal affair and we provide you with all the ingredients to make up your own sandwiches. So whether it’s peanut butter & jelly or something more substantial like ham & cheese with freshly sliced vegetables, humus, you can get creative at our morning ‘sandwich factory’. Day-long hiking in the fresh and invigourating air prompts a healthy appetite, so there are also fruit, crisps and sweet snacks available for your packed lunch.
On your return from the hike, you can enjoy cream tea with scrumptious scones, jam and clotted cream. After some hikes there’s a possibility to forego the cream tea in favour of a visit to a local country pub before returning back to the hostel.
Saturday dinner is a group event: members chat about the day’s events, whilst helping out with some of the preparation. It is usually served at 8pm and includes a wide selection of salads, a meat and a vegetarian dish and dessert.
If you have any special diet requirements, please, let us know in advance, so that we can accommodate your needs.
You will need to bring your own alcoholic drinks in advance, as AAA is not licenced to sell alcohol.
There is no need for additional expenses, such as a meal out at a local restaurant or pub.

GETTING THERE
AAA events start and end at the accommodation venue so you will need to arrange your own transport to and from the accommodation.
Members have been organising lift shares within the Meetup group for a long time and AAA have also assisted members to organising getting to the destination.
If you want to lift share we recommend that you post a message on the Meetup “Discussion” page that is specific to this event.
>>> Click on this link for the Lift Share Discussion <<<
AAA takes no responsibility for the lift shares and do not get involved with these private arrangements between members.
Please do not contact people regarding lifts on the “Conversation” thread below as this generates spam for all participants of the event.

MASSAGE
We are lucky to have our member - Taras on this trip. He is a professional massage therapist.
Taras did the Acupressure Massage Course and spent 11 weeks in Thailand studying Thai Massage which is great accompaniment of Yoga practice. Through the therapist movements the patient can become more balanced, flexible and deal with health issues.
Now Taras teaches Yoga classes and works as massage therapist, trying to connect Yoga Practice with Deep Thai Massage Stretching to help clients become more steady in postures.
