Welcome to the Aquatic Adventures of MI #SCUBAholics! , a lifestyle organization for people who love the water. Whether you're a dedicated snorkeler or avid diver, beginner or pro Aquatic Adventures will help you get the most from your active aquatic lifestyle.
Hey Junior Divers!
Join us when we have Jr. Diver Day once a month. During the winter months we will be diving at the Hartland High School pool. You'll have a chance to keep your skills up to date along with learning new skills for when you dive with us in the summer.
The PADI Seal Team is for young scuba divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool by completing exciting AquaMissions. Have you ever wondered what it's like to dive with flashlights, take digital pictures underwater or float effortlessly like an astronaut? Beyond learning basic scuba skills, there are specialty AquaMissions, such as wreck diving, navigation, buoyancy, environmental awareness and more. PADI Seal Team includes doing some cool stuff in the pool, meeting friends and sharing in the adventure of the underwater world. To join the PADI Seal Team, a child must be 8 years of age or older. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but kids should be comfortable in the water. Parental approval is required.
The Seal Team meets every Sunday for six weeks.
Spring Mill Pond in Island Lake State Recreation Area
The plan is to meet at 6:30 p.m., and be in the water by 7:00 p.m. Don't forget your diver floats, flashlights and a slate is a good idea. As the night goes on, we divers get hungry! That being said, we'll have a picnic after the dive. We would appreciate if everyone brings a little something-something to contribute! Hope to see you there!
