Ghost Bike Ceremony
It will have been a year since our member and friend passed away on the Bosque Trail.

Passed on the Basque Trail on Aug 28th 2016 at the age of 58 during an Albuquerque Co-ed Hiking and Bicycle ride to the Old Town Farm when he had a massive coronary and die on the spot. We plan on honoring Walt on 27 August 2017 during our Sunday ride with the installation of a Ghost Bike by the Wheel-men.
Please make every effort to attend. Our Sunday ride will leave promptly at 8 am from Alameda to make it to the location on time.
We will have a get together at 8:30 on Sunday 27 August at the place Walt passed away on the trail. Approximately a Third of a mile North of I-40 on the Basque trail for a Ghost Bicycle Ceremony.
If you choose to drive the location is accessible from parking lot at end of Gabaldon Place not far from Rio Grande Blvd.
