Upcoming events (5+)
Going to move this to Sundays ( and bi-monthly), in hopes we can get more people out for these. Let's go hiking in the foothills of ABQ. We can do a picnic as well. Let's meet in the parking lot of Elena Gallegos at the first reststop. It's been awhile but the trails are fairly stroller friendly. Here is a map of the area. https://www.cabq.gov/parksandrec... (https://www.cabq.gov/parksandrecreation/open-space/lands/elena.pdf) After paying for parking at the ranger station you have to go right. Follow the road to the first restroom area parking. It will be on the left side of the road.
The Balloon Museum has story time every Wednesday at 9:30 am and 11 am ( for are late peeps) with a different theme each week. Laurie McGovern is the lady that runs it and she is a great story teller who will keep even the youngest child's attention! There are stories, songs, activities and crafts. It is free, all you need to do is walk up to the ticket box and give your zip code and childs age.
How about a weekly park walk, as the weather has turned warm. I will have the walk at the Mariposa Basin Park, and will alternate it when we get more guys going, (Academy Hills Park (https://www.google.com/maps/place/9709+Layton+Ave+NE,+Albuquerque,+NMemail@example.com,-106.53142,16z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x87189fd84a2ce859:0x59e95b706fcf4c4c?hl=en) or Summit Park (https://www.google.com/maps/place/3000+Constitution+Ave+NE,+Albuquerque,+NMfirstname.lastname@example.org,-106.612186,16z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x87220b460e7a885f:0x5e64a7ca58757d52?hl=en) ). After we walk, the kids can playground area. We can meet in the playground area. Here is my cell if you think you might be late ( as the site, can sometimes have a lag). #[masked]
