October 2018 - Project management with Brett Locke

This months speaker will be Brett Locke. Brett Locke began his career in the oil and gas industry as an engineer. It didn’t take long for Brett to realize that project management was his real strength, and he launched a successful 35-year career, earning awards at the local, state and national level for project management excellence.

Brett will teach us how to apply the principles of project management to real estate investing (flipping in particular) with a focus on
the “Triple Constraint”,
the “Triad of Success”
the “Opportunity to Influence”

along with other project management tricks and tools of the trade.

Brett has managed and consulted on projects worth up to $200 million. In 2015 Brett took off the “golden handcuffs” (resigned from his corporate job) and began a new career in real estate investing. Brett has been recognized by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and has taught project management at San Juan College.
