What we're about

SF Bay Area American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) uses Sunnyvale as our home base with occasional "field trips" to plays, research locations or something else that might further our craft. We have attendees from all over the broader Bay Area (Santa Cruz, Antioch, Sacramento, and Yosemite area!). Our regular meetings are bimonthly (every other month, starting in January) on the 3rd Saturday (subject to change so check to make sure). Our website is https://acfwsfba.wordpress.com/ and our email is acfwsfbayarea@gmail.com .

We have speakers and workshops on craft, industry, and professional development topics, all directed to benefit published and non-published writers. Meetings are 2 hours with an optional no host lunch afterwards. We are fiction writers who are Christian. This is a writing group for learning, support and community (no evangelizing). Guests are welcome, membership not required for first-time guests, and second-time guests pay $10. Third-time guests must have joined the national ACFW (http://ACFW.com) and pay the $10 yearly fee for the local chapter. A New Member's Information Sheet (https://www.dropbox.com/s/lc5i89zg378unel/New%20Members_Info_Sheet2015.pdf?dl=0) is available for downloading.

Marketing for Writers

Needs a location

Our original speaker needed to postpone, so we will be hearing from our very own Kelley Way on Literary Law. No matter where you are on your writing journey, you will not want to miss this talk.

When: Saturday, May 21st, from 10-Noon
Where: Foothill Baptist Church, 1347 Richardson Ave, Los Altos, CA

We will also plan to meet together at a nearby restaurant to continue getting to know each other for those able to join us.
