The following ten minute talk by Kenneth Wapnick, is a profoundly practical focusing on "the gentle arms of forgiveness," as described in Section IV, "The Obstacles to Peace," of Chapter 19 of the ACIM Text.

Our suggested assignment for our next meeting on Saturday, May 25th at 4:00 pm is:

Reading Section X, "The Equality of Miracles," from Chapter 14, "Teaching For Truth." (The homework assignments is never any kind of mandatory requirement for attending - just related material to what we will be sharing in the next group.)

We are continuing our process of going slowly, thoughtfully and thoroughly through the the Fifty Miracle Principles at the beginning of the ACIM Text, utilizing Kenneth Wapnick's book of commentary on the principles. In our first two such group meetings we've gotten through the 1st Principle, but by no means have we exhausted it's meaning and relevance. We will go forward to the second principle this next group meeting.

Yes, what is this for? What is it's purpose? And only two choices. To judge or to forgive. To make sin real, or demonstrate that sin has no effect and thus cannot be real. Seeing all attack as but fear and fear but the appeal for love that has been denied. My favorite page of the Course (2nd and 3rd editions) is page 217 of the Text, beginning of Chapter 12, where fear is show as the revelation/ affirmation of the love that is being hid from out of the wrong choice for the ego. Lesson 122: "Forgiveness offers everything I want." Forgiveness for every seeming attack and defense and "issue."

Very good meet up. I am still digesting principle 3 and the only question that we should ever ask of anything is What does it mean? I am very grateful for The Course.

Such a beautiful sharing occurred. We read through the 3rd Miracle Principle and toward the end a scene from the film, Brother Sun, Sister Moon inspired more insight and understand and sharing.
