The Ghent Winter Bar Tour, is back for its ninth year on Saturday, February 22nd! The pub crawl raises money for Edmarc Hospice for Children. This year's theme is "I Love The 80's"! Want to dress up in your favorite 80's attire? Awesome! Don't quite feel like dressing up? No worries, just bring yourself as-you-are
The wintertime pub crawl will take place on Colley Avenue, 21st Street, and in the surrounding Ghent neighborhood from 4:00pm until 9:00pm, ending with an ending with an indoor/outdoor warehouse block party and closing ceremony!
Ghent Bar Tours will be host the closing ceremony, at 757 Makerspace on 22nd Street with a block party. They will have local bands and DJ's as well as libations from Victory Brewing Company and Copa de Vino and sample wares from local food trucks. Note: Cash will be the only accepted form of payment at the bar outside at the block party.
The current online registration donation amount is $23.00. (As of 2/17/14). The price will go up as the event gets closer and will be $30 on the day of the event. For your donation, you will receive a wristband good for specials at all sponsoring establishments, and free entrance to the closing ceremony and party, plus an event T-shirt, guide map of crawl locations, and other promotional items.
All of your registration materials must be picked up in person at the following location:
Pre-Registration booth at Sassi Cakes and Sweets (330 W 22nd Street, Norfolk, VA 23517) on Friday, February 21st between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM
Registration booth at 757 Makerspace (421 W. 22nd Street, Norfolk, VA 23517) on Saturday, February 22nd between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM
After you pick up your registration materials, we’ll meet up at the Public House (1112 Colley Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23517) starting at 4:00 and leave for our next bar at 5:00. If you need to find us after that, text me at 757-876-6442.
