Nikkei Matsuri Japanese Festival & Farmer's Market - San Jose Japantown

A variety of Japanese arts, crafts, food, and 2 live stages will line the streets in Japantown this coming Sunday, May 5th from 9:30am until 4:00pm. There's also a Farmer's Market on the adjoining block. All activities are concentrated at Jackson St between 4th & 6th.

We'll first visit the Farmer's Market @ 10am before going to the Japanese festival right next door @ 11am. We'll be wearing out ACSJ T-shirts so look out for us. (See the right side bar how to find us)

Join us for the 41st Annual Nikkei Matsuri (Japanese American Festival) in one of the nation’s last remaining Japantowns here in San Jose. Embrace the local community’s love and appreciation for Japanese-American food, art & culture.

Live entertainment on two stages will be featured throughout the day as well as cultural displays showcasing the traditional arts from Japan. There is something for the entire family at this years Nikkei Matsuri!
