What we're about

Connect with other 40s, 50s, and 60s+ for wellness and adventure.
When you start to think about retirement you want to be well when it happens. This meetup is a community movement to change perceptions about healthy diet habits and smart exercise that can achieve great results at any age safely. Building in good habits now and educating yourself on what counts can save you time and healthcare expenses.
Meet others that want accountability to exercise and positive change and activities with others. Social connections are so important for well being that it is thoughtless to not include it for longevity. Alas, group Travel opportunities are offered quarterly or as super deals come along.... so get your passport current, just in case.

We will discuss reasons for claiming at full retirement age, claiming early or waiting to age 70 to begin benefits. We will have on hand a social security estimator to determine the best age to begin claiming monthly benefits for your situation. Other common questions about SSIB: Can I claim spousal benefits? What happens to my monthly benefits if my spouse dies? Is SSIB taxable in Minnesota? What if I want to go back and get benefits from a previous year, can I do that? These questions and more will be discussed at this interactive workshop, helping you decide when social security benefits fit best in your retirement income strategy.
