ITINERARY

HIKES

There will be a very capable hike leader on this weekend, both with navigational and leading experience and trained in outdoor first aid.

The choice of hikes will differ in distance and hardness to suit the group.

The short of the hikes will probably be around 10 miles / 16km and the long hike to be 17 miles / 27 km this will vary on the day depending on the conditions and group capability.

The Saturday walk will be 14-miles across moorland. We will hike onto Dark Peak. This is a flat peat-filled plateau with great views off the edges. It is covered in heather and strange wind-eroded rock formations.
