What is your favorite or the main guitar (instrument) that you own?

I have four nice guitars - Two Martin guitars and two Huss & Dalton guitars. All are good so I try to rotate through them to make sure each one gets equal playing time.

What is your "dream" guitar/instrument?

A small-body (parlor?) slot-head guitar. One that has all the 'pros' of the guitars I currently own, without any of the 'cons'.

Do you consider yourself: beginner, intermediate, advanced or expert?

Approaching intermediate. Working on becoming a better performer.

Who are your musical influences?

As it relates to playing the guitar: Stefan Grossman (first finger-style guitar player I ever heard, and primarily responsible for inspiring me to learn f/s guitar), Leo Kottke (second f/s guitarist I heard), Chet Atkins (third f/s guitarist I heard), Del Rey (just outstanding!), Francois Sciortino (the most recent and my current favorite). There are others too but these five are at at the top of my list... And last but not least I have to give credit to a friend of mine, Antoine Turbat, who lives in France and who I believe was ultimately instrumental in convincing me to continue with the guitar (I was planning to quit playing for good, and he talked me into staying with it. I owe him a lot!).

How did you find the AGMGroup? If from a member, who?

Thru the BGG...

Hello, another aspiring guitar player enjoying every minute of it. Some people have asked "...why don't I post a picture of me, instead of one of my guitars? guitars are better looking than I am :-).
