Once a month, together with the cooperation of Rialto, we are happy to announce EXPATS MOVIE NIGHT: an event to get together with other internationals and watch recent foreign language films with English subtitles at the Rialto cinema
There will be a reserved area for the AIC group where gathering before the movie. Ask at the entrance where the meeting point is.
After the movie, we will move to Bar Boele to have some drinks and network.
WHERE📍: The meetings are at Rialto VU: a brand new innovative film theatre at the VU Campus. The host Karolina will be there beforehand and afterward to meet and greet and have a few drinks.
WHEN: Sunday, January 14th. We meet from 16:45 in the AIC area and then the movie starts at 17:15.

THE MOVIE🎥: Kore-eda Hirokazu's newest drama MONSTER
🎬 MONSTER: With critically acclaimed dramas such as Shoplifters and Broker, Japanese director Kore-eda Hirokazu has repeatedly proven to have a keen eye for the complexities of family relationships. In his new film, Monster, he not only zooms in on a dysfunctional mother-son relationship and a close friendship between two children, he also explores the 'monster' in society. The result is a suspenseful, sometimes mysterious story told from three perspectives: of the mother, the teacher and Minato himself. Awarded at Cannes.
