Join your fellow AIIM Southwest members on March 30th at 11 AM for an informative session with Dr. Galina Datskovsky, CRM, FAI. She will be discussing recent developments in Artificial Intelligence and its impacts on Information Governance.

Artificial Intelligence is quickly introducing new considerations for information governance professionals – including the various legal ramifications. From smart vehicles to Alexa and Echo, to analytics software that provides sentencing guidelines, artificial intelligence is part of our lives and our businesses. In this presentation, we utilize case law and use cases to engage the audience as we dive into the information governance and legal implications of this emerging technology. This session will call on attendees to utilize their information governance prowess as we debate the impact of new AI innovations on the overall governance of information, including the various challenges and approaches to management.

Dr. Datskovsky, CRM, FAI, and serial entrepreneur is an internationally recognized information governance, privacy, compliance, security, and artificial intelligence expert. Galina is currently a member of the board of directors at OpenAxes. She previously held the position of SVP of Information Governance at Autonomy/HP and was General Manager of the Information Governance Business Unit and SVP of Architecture while at CA Technologies. She joined CA in 2006 with the acquisition of MDY Group International, where she was founder and CEO. Galina served as Chair, President, President-Elect, and Director of ARMA International (2007-2013) and has been widely published in academic journals, speaking for industry organizations worldwide. She was named a Top 25 Women in Cybersecurity of 2019 by Cyber Defense Magazine, designated a Distinguished Engineer at CA (2006-10), received the prestigious Emmet Leahy award (2013), and was named a Fellow of ARMA International (2014). She earned her doctoral, master's, and bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science from Columbia University.
