Python Constricted: A Crash Course in the Python Programming Language for Experienced Programmers A joint A.I. North and ylab maker space event. In the ylab maker space at the David Dunlap Observatory. Python is a powerful, flexible programming language that has rapidly become a force in A.I. development. Many A.I. engines and machine learning systems support Python as a development language. THIS SESSION IS FOR YOU IF YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW TO PROGRAM. Bring your own laptop and Ylab's volunteers will get you up to speed fast! Some of them make their living with Python programming, and they'll share their knowledge on how to quickly get up to speed with the language and many of its advanced features. The evening will start with an introduction to the main features, and then we'll jump in to some serious work. We'll have servers ready so you can try web programming, database access and other challenges.
