Riverbend Park Hike, VA-CANCELED Due to muddy conditions

** This is a great hike for all family members and all hiking levels **
Description: From the Visitor Center, we will take the Madison's Escape Trail to Bootlegger Trail to Great Falls Park where we stop at all the overlooks. We will return to the visitor center via the Potomac Heritage Trail.
Clothing: Please dress in layers and avoid wearing cotton since it wicks away your body heat if it gets wet. Hat, gloves, sunglasses, hiking poles. Distance: 4 miles
Difficulty: Easy
Pace: 2 mph
On-Leash: Dogs must be on a leash the entire hike; leash must be no longer than 6 feet.
Water: There is no water on this hike, so please bring enough for both you and your dog.
Food: A snack/lunch for the trail is always a good idea for both you and your dog.
Weather: I will cancel the day before if there is a strong chance of rain or thunderstorms.
