October First Friday: AMRoC-A Year in the Making, a Work in Progress

In October of 2018, the nonprofit Foundation for Community Driven Innovation acquired the space for AMRoC Fab Lab at University Square Mall. While the space formally opened to the public in June, it's been under development, largely by volunteers, since then. Join us for our October First Friday at the Fab Lab meetup to learn how a former sportswear store is being transformed into a 7500 sq. ft. creative, educational, and capacity building space for all ages, and the role AMRoC plays as part of the larger Uptown Tampa redevelopment effort.

We'll have tours of the space, and see some of our equipment in action, including 3D printers, minilathe, robotics resources and more.
