We let our network decide what topic to cover in our events and we invite experts to share their experiences. The topic for our sixth AR/VR/MR MeetUp is: Best of ARKit & ARCore

Both main mobile operating system creators Apple and Google have released Augmented Reality SDKs about one year ago. We'll talk about the current state of mobile AR development and we'll take a look back to see what developers created with these frameworks.

As usual, we'll invite experts working with these technologies to talk about their work and we try provide as many hands-on experiences as possible for our participants. So, holster your phones, people!

The topic of AR gets more and more traction. In this talk, Robert gives an overview of mobile AR projects implemented and gives insights into repeating challenges as well as how to tackle them.

How to re-register 3D content in the world? In a master thesis, Philipp Kast has developed an own AR cloud solution, while at the same time, this topic is getting pushed by the big players in the background. Also, get a chance to try out one of the early cross-plattform AR cloud solutions 'Azure Spatial Anchors' https://azure.microsoft.com/de-de/services/spatial-anchors/

SBB is previewing their AR App for Zurich's main station. The complex environment plus targeting the 'average joe' consumer requires a robust solution and a superior UX.

We'll do the event-moderation in English, while our experts will give their inputs in English and standard German.
