Movers and Shakers return to discuss their new project "UNSUNG, an Augmented Reality Storybox". It's an interactive, multiplayer AR learning experience that came out of the Verizon/NYC Media Lab 5G Ed Tech Challenge. Students read through passages about female icons of color and answer multiple choice questions in the app. Correct answers unlock different rooms related to their lives that students can explore with this AR app.

DOTDOT, along with BBC journalist Lauren Hutchinson, will discuss Pilgrim, an interactive, geospatial, augmented reality audio documentary based on interviews recorded on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Spain.

Robert Lester, another return guest, will share his recent live facial motion capture work done in collaboration with NYC’s Technodramatists for their adaptation of Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors. A live one-woman-performance with actor Claire Tyers was augmented in real-time with live facial animation projected from Unreal Engine.
