ASF's Big Meeting - FFRF Attorney Patrick Elliott

Patrick Elliott serves as Senior Counsel to the Freedom From Religion Foundation and oversees litigation for FFRF. For nearly 10 years, Patrick has managed a First Amendment caseload that includes addressing religion in schools, religious displays, and free speech violations. He has worked to resolve hundreds of state/church violations across the country, including violations in Arkansas. He's one of the attorneys representing ASF in the battle against the Ten Commandments monument on the State Capitol grounds.

Patrick will discuss “The Theocrats’ Playbook” by sharing insights into the tactics used by officials who seek to inject religion into government. The same tactics used by theocrats in other states are being used in Arkansas to advance religion. Patrick will share suggestions (not commandments!) for how to help protect the separation of church and state.
