Greetings,
Thank you for subscribing to our singles golf group, ASGA Chicago Chapter Meetup group.
Every weekend from May through September, golf events are planned in various locations throughout the Chicago area. Typically we have 20-40 golfers at each event and we play 18 holes. And, people are paired up by the event host. So newcomers, you are bound to be paired up with someone active, outgoing and fun to be around!
BTW, a couple guidelines. Clicking on the RSVP on the Meetup page tells others you are going, but doesn't reserve your spot. It's really easy to attend, simply peruse the list of events, select those you want to attend and then send an email to the golf host, whose email address is listed in the event details.
Wondering how to pay? Bring check or cash with you to the event. We always have a very visible table at the course where you'll check-in, pay the required course fee and get introduced to many members to ensure your time is enjoyable.
A little more about ASGA.....as the local chapter of American Singles Golf Association (ASGA), we hope to use this as a way to both draw in new unmarried members and also to help communicate with current members. Annual membership dues entitle you to join all local and national events. Meetup members can attend 1 local golf event before joining.
Once you've joined you are a National member, and entitled to attend the many events planned by National throughout the year, typically New Years, Spring, Memorial Day, and November. These events are usually attended by over 100 members from around the country. It's a great opportunity to make new friends from around the national group and have a fabulous time!
