What we're about
Members of ASIKE include women from the Continent of Africa, the Caribbeans, African Americans and those who support Africa and African Culture. We welcome all Sisters to join and be part our Sisterhood for empowerment, support, conversation and charitable work.
ASIKE (African Sisters for Information, Knowledge and Education) aims to do the following:
Empower women through knowledge and information sharing, mentorship programs and leadership training in order to equip them to be effective leaders in their respective communities on the local, national and global stage.
Connect individuals and organizations to resources that empower and advance our collective mission and goals.
Be a forum for mutual understanding of Africa, African immigrants, Afro Caribbean and African American women, as well as broaden understanding and knowledge of development issues that affect our communities both in the US and abroad.
Be the provider of information and knowledge that enhances the personal and professional development of its members through ASIKE activities and events.
