It time to rock another Saturday run.
Coach Gaby will be subbing for Coach Russ.
Our workout for today is 40 minutes at our current interval of walk 3:30/ run 1:30.
We are going to focus on Midfoot strike again.
March in place prior to your run to reinforce the proper midfoot strike.
Heel striking and overstriding cause braking.
Landing on forefoot can strain the calf and achilles.
Remember to eat a light breakfast to be fueled for the run. You have not eaten since last night so your body needs fuel for physical activity. Try to include more carbs in this light breakfast.
