AT&T Israel is pleased to invite you to our very first technological meetup: “VR/AR – A Leap into Reality”. If you are interested in how xR technologies are going to change the way we interact as humans consuming content, you should come and join us for a night of technology, football, food and beer!

19:00—Entertainment with XR technologies
Speaker—David Beloosesky

Use Unity technology to build on top of existing Android code logic to get your VR experience. A few of the benefits using this approach are reducing time-to-market and the cost of development, and having a single maintenance code-base.

In addition, we'll deep dive into ARCore SDK and use Sceneform in Android Studio to create your first AR project. This part is aimed for beginners and will guide you step by step in understanding the basic concepts of AR. We’ll create our first HelloWorldAR with additional tips and tricks.

19:30—Challenges in UX design for AR+VR (XR)
Speaker—Gal Zeevi

UX for XR presents huge challenges and opportunities. In our work we witness what happens when a 2D interface meets the depth of 3D space. Our mission is to understand the users’ goals and contexts to create a successful and effective XR.

In this lecture we’ll overview XR devices and interaction methods, describe some of the issues we facie when we incorporate UX design into the development process, and see what will make a successful use case for VR AR.
