Doug Winter: Serverless + AWS Cognito

One of the missing pieces of the Serverless puzzle has been authentication and authorisation: how to easily identify your users and grant them access.

AWS Cognito provides an API complete solution for this, as well as providing simple integration with Lambda and row-level security for DynamoDB.

Doug will talk about how these can be used in a React application, with code examples.

Lawrence Dudley: Containers/Kubernetes on AWS

Containers - everyone keeps going on about them but how production-ready is the tooling that's available? Lawrence will talk about Parallax's journey to finding a way to run production-ready, scalable containers on AWS.
