Our apologies - but this event has been rescheduled for 3 weeks' time - Wednesday March 25th - due to one of the speakers being unwell.

See how IoT buttons & NFC tags can be hooked up to AWS to do weird & wonderful stuff

We have the pleasure of hosting Andrew Beacock (The Very Group) and Paul Gledhill (Barclays) to talk all things IoT...

18:00 Doors, setup, and chat

18:30 AWS News Round-Up

18:45 Andrew will be presenting on Amazon IoT Dash Buttons. Showing how these can be integrated with GoLang lambda functions, which he developed using an IDE on his Android handset.

19:15 Paul will be demonstrating how to program NFC tags, and then use an NFC tag and a smartphone to kick off AWS hosted integrations, to toot the horn and open the charging flap on a "Connected Vehicle".

19:45 AWS IoT Greengrass... running AWS managed containers on IoT devices (like a Raspberry Pi)

20:00 AWS War Stories... bring your problems, and we'll crowd source solutions

We'll be handing out free NFC tags as part of the event, so that you can try out some of the tools/techniques demoed as part of the session.

And as always, we'll have an AWS news round-up and discussion along with plenty of Pizza, drinks and a great crowd to network with.

We still have space for a lightning talk or two - let us know if you want to be part of the line-up, and have something related to IoT to discuss
