What we’re about
Cloud Native Media is an informal group of Technology, Media, TV, Video, Audio and Radio professionals sharing technical, business, organisational and practical information about putting real media workflows in the cloud.
We aim to hold in-person events in London every 4-8 weeks, and thanks to generous sponsorship we're able to stream events online via YouTube for a global audience. Past talks are also available to watch via our YouTube Channel.
Who can attend?
Our in-person meetup events are for professionals working in Technology or Media. This includes media professionals looking to learn more about the technology they use, and technical professionals from other sectors such as software, e-commerce or fintech. We also welcome graduates and trainees interested in developing a career in media technology. If you're unsure if the content is for you, please watch some of the past talks on our YouTube channel.
We ask that attendees have an interest in the content of the talks, and respect the general tone and ethos of the event. All attendees must provide their full name and abide by the code of conduct (below).
New group members must answer the questions presented at sign up completely and honestly. We don't accept anonymous members. New members with inadequate responses will be removed from the group.
Personal data is used only for the purposes of managing the group and events, and is never passed to sponsors or other third parties.
Can I speak at an event?
As an informal group we welcome and encourage talks from all levels - it's not just for senior or experienced people. The simple criteria is that talks must not be focused on selling a product or service, and must involve doing something with media in the cloud. Technical talks and case studies are common, but relevant business, culture and process talks are also welcome. Please complete this form if you're interested.
Code of Conduct
Cloud Native Media is dedicated to providing a harassment-free meetup experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of meetup participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any meetup venue, including talks.
Food and drink must be consumed at the venue and may not be taken away. Consumption of alcohol is not expected or required of anyone. Those choosing to consume alcohol must do so responsibly.
Anyone violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the meetup at the discretion of the organisers.
