What we’re about
This group is for people interested in Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Tampere area.
We organise Meetups about once a month during the "business months". The Meetups usually take place during the evening after the work day, with a different local company hosting us. The events are held in English and are free to attend. We're constantly looking for speakers so feel free to pitch a presentation topic to us.
The Meetups consist mostly of tech talks and networking, but if there's interest we can also organise hands-on labs on different topics. The most popular themes are experience reports / case studies from users of AWS, but also deep dives on technology and other discussions on technical solutions are welcome. We focus on technical and business presentations, not sales pitches. Last but not least, you really don't need to be an about AWS expert to participate in the events.
These events are organised by volunteers passionate about AWS and aren't official AWS events in any way.
