Scott has 20+ years’ experience in IT – both in leadership and technical/analytical roles, now working as an AWS Specialist Solutions Architect at a large MSP. Aled has 20 years experience developing distributed applications, mostly in the enterprise sector. Particular areas of interest include automation, DevOps, fault tolerance and concurrency, now working as the VP of Engineering at Cloudsoft. Special thanks to our sponsors Vodafone for hosting, Rackspace for food and drink and AWS for supporting our meetup.
Location by car:
From the A339 North of Newbury, take the exit to Vodafone RG14 2FN. Drive past main building on right to Car Park 2, Visitors Parking. Press Intercom Button at the barrier and tell Security you’re attending a meeting at Clarke House, room "Offsite 1".
Location via public transport:
By train:
Make your way to Newbury, then catch a Vodafone bus “V1” which is a 15 min ride.
Bus Timetable can be found using the Kennections phone app, both Android and iPhone.
Note: the V1 service stops @ 19:30 which means local buses need to be used, this will require a small walk and alternate bus to the station after the meetup. (1 Jetblack from Shaw to the bus depot)
Taxi:
There is a taxi rank @ Newbury train station that can be used too.

- Login with Reception Security inside Vodafone House, who will also direct you to the meeting room.
- After the meeting, as you leave the car park, the barrier should automatically raise for your exit.
