What we’re about
Münster chapter of Amazon Web Services User Groups.
We are a group people which is interested in the ecosystem around AWS and Cloud Computing in general. We meet in different locations/offices all over Münster. Networking and socializing is a big part of this group combined with mostly technical talks about different aspects and ideas for the usage of AWS and their services.
We are part of a large Community Network.

See all- Spec-driven AI Development: Kiro & Q Developer in ActionDigital Hub münsterLAND, Münster
When AWS introduced kiro.dev in July 2025, it sparked a wave of excitement across the developer community. Thousands of engineers have since explored its unique approach to Spec-driven Development, where specifications become the single source of truth for building, testing, and scaling software. By aligning teams around clear, machine-readable specs, kiro.dev transforms the way applications are designed and delivered.
Join us for an evening of learning and discussion on how spec-driven AI is transforming the developer experience on AWS. This meetup features two deep-dive talks from experts who are applying AI in real-world development, covering Kiro and Q Developer from AWS and best practices for integrating AI into your workflow.
Whether you’re curious about how AI can accelerate prototyping, streamline workflows, or support large-scale enterprise solutions, this meetup will give you actionable insights you can take back to your own projects.
## 📅 Agenda
18:00 – 18:30 | Welcome & Networking
Kick off the evening by meeting fellow AWS builders and grabbing a refreshment.18:30 – 19:15 | AWS Kiro – The Agentic AI IDE from Prototype to Production
Speaker: Emad Bawah, Senior Cloud Solution Architect at evocenta GmbHIn this talk, Emad will discuss how AWS Kiro supports developers with spec-driven coding, automated workflows, and practical features that accelerate the path from idea to production. We’ll look at Kiro’s core capabilities, its impact on the developer experience, and how it fits into modern AI-driven development on AWS.
19:15 – 20:00 | How do you Q? Effective Collaboration with Amazon Q Developer
Speaker: Christian Bonzelet, AWS Solutions Architect, DFL Digital SportsAs a Solutions Architect working with Bundesliga, Christian discovered various patterns for effectively collaborating with Amazon Q Developer that go far beyond traditional code generation. He'll explore practical collaboration patterns he developed while working on enterprise-scale solutions.
In this session, you'll learn:
- Why a conversation-first approach increases the chance of achieving better results rather than jumping straight to implementation
- How I leverage Amazon Q Developer's different personas effectively, and when I use which interaction pattern for maximum impact
- How to integrate spec-driven development in your AI-driven development lifecycleChristian will demonstrate these approaches using concrete examples from his work at Bundesliga, including how he turned what would have been days of API integration work into a 15-minute pair programming session with Amazon Q Developer.
He'll also address the mental shifts required to move from writing code to becoming an effective AI collaborator. We'll explore the capabilities and current limitations of AI-assisted development, helping you develop realistic expectations and strategies for integrating these tools into your development workflow.
When you walk out of this session, you will leave with actionable insights for more effective AI collaboration, with you as the lead engineer.
20:00 – 21:00 | Drinks, Food & Networking
