# Moving from CloudFormation to Terraform and Beyond

After writing and managing 100+ repositories of CloudFormation why they decided to look for alternate solutions. Hussain will discuss some pain points they faced with CloudFormation, alternates like Terraform, and their next steps.

After developing Mobile Apps for 7 years, Hussain metamorphosized to be a Systems Engineer. Working in REA Group (also known as iProperty) He manages numerous consumer-facing applications ranging from Monoliths to Microservices. Following the SRE framework for DevOps practices, Infrastructure As Code is one of the core practices I follow to manage the infra.

Ankit is an AWS APN Ambassador and AWS Community Hero based out of India. He brings deep expertise in Solutions Architecture designing on AWS. Ankit is an AWS user since 2012 and has worked with most of the AWS services. He is a trusted customer advocate, has multiple AWS Certifications, and has worked on various types of AWS projects.
He is an AWS Community leader helping build the AWS Community in India since 2014. Ankit has given multiple sessions on AWS services at various events.
