Come code with us to help some great local non-profit organizations at our 8th annual AZGiveCamp event. The Phoenix 2017 Hackathon-of-Help will be held March 24th – 26th, 2017 at the brand new Galvanize Phoenix facility off 7th Street, south of Chase Field. We start Friday after work, and deliver completed solutions Sunday afternoon. Sleep is optional, meals and caffeine provided.


Chrysalis helps victims of domestic abuse. They're looking to convert an attendance tracking Access app to a more modern platform. This will be a huge greenfield project, so we'd love lots of help. Come say hi to Angie.

Kids at Hope asserts that every child has a treasure inside, and the treasure hunters can make them bloom. They're looking to replace their PHP-based student tracking site with a site that allows not only tracking teachers' influence on students, but also tracks students' views of their mentors. Central Arizona Shelter Services provides dignity to the homeless. They're looking for a website facelift. We can stick with their Weebly setup or move them to a new CMS like WordPress. Come say hi to David.

SeedSpot is a startup incubator for the socially conscious entrepreneur. They're looking to revive their social mobile application built in C#. Their existing back-end service provider has shut down. We'll take on as many of the 3 tasks as we can: get the app building, replace the server, and modify the app brand to reflect the SeedSpot brand. Come say hi to John and Travis.

GreenLight Solutions matches students with local businesses for internships. They've outgrown their manual processes, and are looking to scale their success in the cloud. Help them pick out a CMS, a Project Management software such as Jira, and get setup with corporate email using G-Suite or Office 365. Come say hi to Ryand and Kevin.

Furnishing Dignity provides donated household supplies to those leaving homelessness. They're looking to replace their existing paper and email intake system with something more modern. Come visit with Joyce.

Girl Develop It provides judgement-free programming classes. They're looking to create a social hub based in WordPress listing all the local events in a single dashboard.
