Multi-Group Used Gear Sale and Swap February 16th

Carriage Lane Park

Most backpackers are gear junkies. We tend to have this need for lighter, harder, better, faster, stronger, shinier, newer, warmer, cooler, everything-er gear. Because of these tendencies our closets fill up with unused gear. What once was a great stove or jacket has been replaced. Our gently used gear sits waiting to be used again, but gets picked over. It's time for us to give these pieces a new home and an owner who could benefit from some gear. We are hosting an BCH Swap Meet-up(Gear Swap!)*! Bring any number of gently used or more used outdoor gear and clothing (backpacking, hiking, canyoneering, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, tents, camp stoves, shoes, clothing, ice axes, crampons, water bottles, packs, paddling, shoes, gear bags!. etc.). If you don't have any gear to bring**, no worries, that's what this event if for! We want to see our gear go to a good home, someone who would put it to good use. You bring it and you can bet there will be someone looking for it. We’ll meet up at A Used Gear Sale in collaboration with TAH, Paddle AZ, BCH, AZ Beyond, and ABC......bring your used type gear that you want to sell to Carriage Lane Park (https://www.google.com/maps/place/3140+S+Carriage+Ln,+Mesa,+AZ+85202/@33.3154352,-111.884987,12.04z/data=!4m8!1m2!2m1!1s3140+S.+Carriage+Ln.+,+Chandler,+AZ,+85224,+us!3m4!1s0x872b07a5a73588e5:0xd73e1ca835a53f05!8m2!3d33.357702!4d-111.8907523?hl=en) in Mesa, AZ. (please no baby items, microwaves etc.) Bring your used gear, a table or something to set up your items (maybe an EZ-up)........everyone is responsible for selling their own gear. We will only be at the park from 10:00am to 12:00pm. New backpackers, this is a great event for you to snag some quality gear! Even veterans may find a treasure or two. Bring gently used gear, get some gently used gear. *This is a yard-sale style event. Please be reasonable with your prices and keep them to solid dollar amounts. So, attendees bring cash! You can barter and swap items with the owner. We will have tables. If you have a table please bring one as well :-) **Cookies & Beer count as gear**
