Want to get stronger, faster, and increase your endurance as a martial artist? Looking to get fit in fun and challenging environment? In this class, you will get your sweat on in a non-combative HEMA related workout. Combining solo drills with the sword, with circuit training exercises that compliment the movements, muscle groups, and exercises sword-fighting athletes use in their practice, this is a class that will up your game and get you in shape. Classes will run on Mondays & Wednesdays at 6:00pm (an hour before recruit class) in the Fighting Arts Collective. This program is open to all AEMMA students who have the rank of recruit or higher. Other FAC members are welcome to join, so long as they have completed the Introduction to Armizare classes. See you on the floor!
Welcome to AEMMA Toronto's Recruit Class! The recruit rank is our first rank at the Academy. The classes are run every Monday and Wednesday (holidays excepted) from 7pm to 9pm, and Sunday from 10:30am-12:30pm. The subject of each class rotates each time between grappling, dagger, and sword work. Anyone who is interested in stopping by AEMMA and observing a class is more than welcome to do so. Our instructors and senior students will be happy to give you a brief introduction to the school and direct you to sign up for AEMMA Toronto's Introductory Course if you are interested in joining the class. A link to the Facebook event for the Introductory Course is available on this Meetup.com page in the 'About Us' Section, as well as all of our other social media links and contacts. We very much look forward to making your acquaintance!
