Accessible documents, including PDFs, spreadsheets, brochures and forms, have been a point of contention for many organizations. Can documents be made accessible? What works and what doesn’t for real users who are vision impaired? Does document inaccessibility impact people with non-vision related disabilities? Is it possible to use software to make documents accessible?

WeCo Founder/President, and former Accessible Document Specialist for the State of Minnesota, Lynn Wehrman, and WeCo 508 Document Remediation Specialist, Jen Hurst, will lead this MeetUp discussion. We’ll walk through the needs of users living with disabilities in relation to document accessibility. Then we’ll discuss the ongoing research and testing WeCo does concerning document accessibility, including new tools and methods that offer solutions.

Bring your best practices, ideas and tips along with any questions you may have.
