• Goal Setting Workshop - Envision.

    MakerLabs

    CA$10.00

What is your ideal? What are you striving for? Where are you, and where do you want to be? What’s holding you back? Come out and articulate your vision. This is the second part of a three part series: Part I: Introduction - If you haven’t been, COME. First Tuesday of every month. ** Part II: Goal Setting Part III: Accountability Group Formations **See Accountability Network Events to sign up for the intro The intention here (Part II) is to have all gone through a similar process so that we all have a common language and starting point to kick off your Accountability Group. Even if you’ve done heaps of goal setting, etc. and already have a plan, we encourage you to come anyways and hope that process will offer you something in addition. Let's be honest, everyone feels at times that classic goal setting can be mundane and unrealistic but we hope to offer an opportunity to dive a bit deeper into what you really want and need, and cut out the external noise. We hope to offer an opportunity to challenge your immediate wants and needs, and look a bit deeper and a bit more long term. Parts of the process include: Envisionment Stream of Consciousness Goal Setting Character Goals Lifestyle Design Cross Pollinate Mission Statement Development Cost: $10 Yes, I know, It’s super cheap. Currently this group is in exploration and development, allowing us to do this almost cost free for about 6 months. Please come out and explore and see if this resonates. A note from Lindy, founder and creator - This is a process that I’ve personally gone on and it shifted my perspective on what I am capable of. It allowed me to step in the direction of cultivating my life. It is recommended that you’ve come to Part I: Introduction Session first but if you haven’t and want to check this out, you’re welcome to join regardless.

If you know anyone else that may be interested, or that you may like working with, bring them along!! The more the merrier. We have a strong interest in conscious living, self-awareness and sustainability, so there may be threads of these subjects woven in! • Accountability Group Intro: Vision, Functionality, Goal Setting and Discussion

    Yaletown Roundhouse Community Centre

    CA$5.00

Come out and learn about the Accountability Group Network! This night is to introduce you to the group while outlining the vision, begin the exploration into the concept of accountability, and get you excited for what’s to come. This facilitated MeetUp will include in-depth discussion, theory, and exercises to get ourselves thinking about the concept of accountability and how we can further apply it to our lives. We'll go with the flow, but the night will run roughly as followed: 7:00 - 7:20 - Icebreakers and Opening Questions 7:20 - 7:50 – Introduction, Group Vision and Functionality 7:50 - 8:20 – Dive into the World of the Accountable 8:20 - 8:45 – Goal Setting – The Process 8:45 - 9:00 - Final Thoughts / Moving Forward If you're still intrigued and wanting more, come to a Second Meeting!! Be part of an Accountability Group. If you're already excited about the concept and feel like you'd benefit from being part of an Accountably Group, take a minute and to think about who you see yourself working with: - What is the age range? - What common values do you hold? - What brings you together as a group? Maybe you all have a similar personal mission (areas of focus). Maybe you share similar problems? Maybe you have similar lifestyles? Maybe you want people in your group with varying skills from you? - What type of people will you thrive and grow from? These are all things to think about when forming an Accountability Group. If you have someone in mind, a friend, acquaintance, or two, that you think you'd work well with, bring them along. One of the most challenging parts of the process is to create synergistic and complimentary groups that Want to work and are Excited to work together. Members of this group are diverse, as accountability is for everyone but not everyone will work well together. So, help yourselves out, and get thinking about your ideal group. If you haven't yet, take a look at the “What We’re About” section. Look forward to seeing you soon!

  • Group Vision, Streamline Goal Setting and Open Discussion

    Yaletown Roundhouse Community Centre

This will be the groups second MeetUp. The night will run roughly as followed: 7:00 - 7:20 - Icebreakers and Opening Questions 7:20 - 7:30 - Introduction and Functionality of Group 7:30 - 7:45 - What does it mean to be Accountable? 7:45 - 8:45 - Goal Setting Workshop - Streamline Goal Setting 8:45 - 9:00 - Final Thoughts / Moving Forward Due to the nature of the group, it may take a few months to get groups running independently. Until then, workshops on the concept of accountability, habit formationm, goal setting, etc. will be held. Members will be asked to set goals, and then come back to the larger group to discuss progress. Please note that I have a strong personal interest in conscious living, self-awareness and sustainability, so there may be threads of these areas woven in. A strong recommendation: if you know anyone that you could see yourself working in a productive, action-oriented accountability group, invite them to the page and bring them along. Members of this group are diverse, as everyone could benefit from being more accountable to themselves. That doesn't mean everyone will work well together. Groups will need to have synergy and "fit", and that falls on us. If you know anyone that you can imagine being part of your group, send out an invite. Thanks and see you all soon!
