Acoustic Eclectic Jam Session

The Acoustic Eclectic jam session will range from genres including Americana, Old Time, Blues, Grunge, Alternative, etc. The style will vary with each musician. This is a good opportunity to get out and meet local singers and songwriters in the area. Sing a song you love covering, or share one you've written. Have a go at a solo, strengthen your improvisation. But most importantly, relax and have fun.
How this will work: I’ll prepare a small set list of songs and provide the chords and keys. Those who RSVP will receive a copy. Musicians who attend are encouraged to bring and sing a song. Bring along your instrument and music stand. Electric guitars with reasonably sized amps will be allowed, as long as you don't drown us acoustic folks out!
A bit about myself: I am a banjo and guitar player who has recently relocated from Hawkes Bay and I'm on a mission to meet fellow musicians. This is a free event with a suggested donation of $5 to cover the cost of the hall. So come on out and meet some local muso's in the area.
