What we're about
AcroYoga elevates the connection between you and others through movement, connection, and play. Acro in Greek means high, or elevated. Yoga in Sanskrit commonly translates to notions of union, or joining. The experience of taking flight with AcroYoga instantly dissolves fears and invites practitioners to tap into new and infinite possibilities of communication, trust, and union. By combining acrobatics, yoga, and healing arts, the practice of AcroYoga has built a community of active teachers and practitioners all over the world.
We have events all over the city; classes, workshops, & jams. We will try to post majority of them here but another spot to access them is on this shared Google calendar: https://email@example.com&ctz=America/Los_Angeles&pli=1
You can also join the group AcroYoga Las Vegas on Facebook to stay updated on anything in the city related to AcroYoga.
The second only AcroYoga studio in the US is NOW open here in Las Vegas called Body Shrine! Body Shrine is a training school focused on partner acrobatics (AcroYoga). We empower our students through progressive training in a safe and detailed approach. Body Shrine is the first and only studio solely focused on the practice of AcroYoga in Las Vegas. Our classes will be focused on partner acrobatics and other skills that will help refine the students overall execution and form. Body Shrine also manages the AcroVegas PULSE, a monthly newsletter to bring the community together and help promote all the current AcroYoga happenings in town; so please sign up to keep up to date with all the AcroYoga in Las Vegas! We aim to bring the community together, and to grow with all the other groups, practitioners, related practices, and classes in town. Continuing education is important to our instructors, as well as our students. We promise to keep pushing our instructors in their own practices with continuing education to bring quality instruction and new skills to our students. Keep a lookout for our workshops as well, as we plan to offer the community a workshop or intensive at least once every 3 months. To see full schedule, go to http://www.bodyshrine.net
No partner needed for any classes.
This is a great studio to learn the fundamentals and take classes that will compliment your AcroYoga class.
Hope to see you monkeys soon and please let me know of any questions!
