Learn how to use color psychology so that users notice your nudges, fly through your software, and have wonderful user experiences.

In this meetup, Brian Cugelman, Ph.D., will walk you through the psychology of color, and teach you hands-on techniques and tools that you can use to blend color strategies with behavioral design.

To make this more interactive, Dr. Cugelman invites participants to submit examples of any behavioral design project/intervention that is suffering because of bad colors. Dr. Cugelman will select a few cases to share with the group and help improve the color system.

Since 1997, Dr. Cugelman has worked as a digital behavior change specialist, with a long career running and evaluating behavior change. His long career in behavioral design cuts across the private, nonprofit, and government sectors, with a 7-year career running digital projects and impact studies for the United Nations.

He is well known for his popular training in digital psychology and emotional design, which he runs in small classrooms worldwide. With an innovative spirit, Dr. Cugelman takes pride in helping his students translate behavioral insights into science-driven creative solutions and digital products.

Dr. Cugelman has authored over 20 scientific and industry papers, is published in the top e-health scientific journal and has taught teams from Salesforce, Samsung, Microsoft, and more. Moreover, he’s educated the Canadian Government and Pentagon on how to use behavioral design to defend against cyber threats.

Currently, Dr. Cugelman is focused on automated nudging algorithms and personality neuroscience.
