Embodying the Great Dream – Dancing the 10 Keys to Happiness by Helen Thatcher

This will be a fun, practical session, completely suitable for beginners, and free of charge.

Helen will use the principles of Vital Development to guide us into exploring the 10 Keys to Happiness. Vital Development is an international movement practice that brings vitality, joy, well-being and meaning to those who attend regular classes; it is derived from Biodanza.

Understanding that everything we experience affects us on a cellular level, we induce positive emotions through music, movement and meditation - creating new pathways in the brain. This method gently re-programs our mind and enables us to adopt a positive (happier) approach to life.

Helen is a warm and welcoming facilitator, with over 10 years experience of running groups. She was an active member of a Buddhist residential community for many years engaging in long meditation retreats. However, she found that she experienced a more profound change in her confidence, happiness and acceptance of the challenges of daily life when she began to use dance as a self-development practice.

Thank you for a great '10 Keys' dance event, Helen. I'm looking forward to more of the same or similar at your regular class at the 'Smile2Live' venue (121 Davigdor Road) on Thursdays at 1.30 pm - that tomorrow! Brill!!

Helen was wonderfully warm and welcoming, and the event was fascinating. Whilst it wasn't really my thing, I am very glad to have attended and would like to thank all who made me so welcome.

Personally I am very excited about this. After the singing event last month, it is clear that some people are ready to get up from their chairs and risk taking physical action to increase their own happiness! After the 'safety' of listening to talks, we can have the 'courage' to move to more personal and unpredictable experiences.
