What we're about

Just jump in and do things!

After a number of years talking about how it would be nice to have a singles ministry geared toward the younger age set of Christian singles (25-45), this site is finally born. I know there are tons of Christian singles sites out there, but I wanted something different. I love being active. I enjoy getting out and doing things. I don't want to stay home all weekend long watching T.V. And it's fun doing things with other like-minded Christian singles. Friendship and fellowship is important, and I want to provide an avenue for people to get together and do stuff that is FUN!

Some of the things that I like doing and want to plan are: Hikes, museums, beach days, conferences, theater shows, musicals, potlucks, game nights, movie nights, local events, and special interests (like photography shooting days, or book clubs). While I have a bunch of things that I like doing and want to plan, this is a team effort! If you would be interested in possibly suggesting, or hosting an event, let me know - because you may be aware of things that I am not. Both men and women.

Blessings on you all!

7 Bridges Hike in San Diego

Balboa Avenue

Meet in the Target parking lot in Temecula at Rancho California Road and Ynez at 8:00 to drive down together. We will leave Temecula at 8:05. For those of you that are meeting us there, there is a map included in one of the photographs that shows the starting point. You can meet us there at 9:30 to start. I personally have not done this urban hike (technically, it’s a walk, but urban hike sounds better!) through San Diego, but thought it looked really fun and like a good way to see San Diego from a different perspective. The hike is a 5.5 mile loop that starts in the heart of Balboa park, and takes you over 7 different bridges through the area. Each bridge looks a little different. Some are concrete, some are wooden, and some take you over the freeway. We will go through Balboa Park, and the surrounding neighborhoods to see everything. It’s a blend of historic and current bridges, and will take us on former street car access routes through the city. If you wanted to see a little more about the hike/walk, you can see it here We will be leaving Temecula at 8:05, and should arrive by 9:30. If we start the walking trail by 10, we can leave by 2:30 to get home by 4:00. That’s plenty of time to walk the 5.5 miles, and grab some lunch as well. I think it looks like a really neat way to see Balboa Park, take some good pictures, and spend a Saturday morning and afternoon. If you are able to drive to carpool, please let me know.

Carnival of Music - Temecula Valley Symphony

30875 Rancho Vista Rd

Flowers are in bloom and music is in the air! Bring the family to experience live music at an outdoor concert this Spring. Don’t forget your lawn chairs, blankets and snacks! I have no idea what they will be playing, but outdoor concerts are fun! It will be outside, so bring chairs, blankets, and a sweater.

I love music and I love worship! Elevation Worship band is having a night of worship at Skyline Church in La Mesa on Thursday, March 28. Tickets are about $25 for general admission. I have my ticket already, and am inviting everyone to come! I think it's going to be an amazing night. You can either meet us there, or drive from Temecula with us. We will be leaving around 5:00 and the concert starts at 7. I'm planning on leaving early because who knows what traffic is going to be like? We can meet at the Target parking lot in Temecula on Rancho California and Ynez at 5:00pm and leave no later than 5:10pm. You can purchase tickets here: https://www.premierproductions.com/tour/elevation-worship-hallelujah-here-below-tourhttps://www.premierproductions.com/tour/elevation-worship-hallelujah-here-below-tour Let me know if you are coming, and I'm looking forward to worshipping with you!
