This group is intended for anyone who is living with anxiety or depression, and seeking a healthy and active social outlet. Although our goal is to introduce and support a healthy and active lifestyle for individuals living with anxiety or depression, all are welcome to join this group. We engage in a variety of activities including but not limited to walking, running, and hiking.
Active Life for a Healthy Mind is a program provided by The Anxiety and Depression Initiative (ADI) a 501(c)(3), a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and support the use of an active and healthy lifestyle to better live with the symptoms of anxiety and depression and to overall help lessen the stigmas associated with anxiety and depression.
PLEASE NOTE: The purpose of this group is for a healthy and active social outlet. It is not a therapy group nor, will its activities be facilitated by a health care professional. This group does not provide mental health services of any kind.
