We will host the serial entrepreneur Arik Czerniak who will talk about his entrepreneurial journey with MetaCafe, Supersonic (merged with ironSource) and Drove, and the Professor of Computer Science Sarit Kraus who will talk about AI and Machine Learning.

About the Speakers:

1. Arik Czerniak is a serial entrepreneur who was the co-founder and CEO of MetaCafe, a video-sharing website that pioneered online video, with over 50 million monthly users and over $50M in venture capital funding. It started in Arik’s basement in Tel Aviv and grew to become a 100+ person operation. After MetaCafe, Arik co-founded Supersonic, a mobile ad company specialising in in-game and in-app ads. Arik managed Supersonic's Israeli team of over 200 Product, R&D and business operations people based in Tel Aviv. Supersonic merged with ironSource in 2015. Prior to the merger, Supersonic had 550 million users and 250,000 daily installs. Arik also served on the board of directors of Perion (formerly Incredimail, Nasdaq: PERI). Arik is now the co-founder and CEO of Drove, which is the first crowd action platform that enables leaders to propel massive amounts of people to action at scale. Before starting his entrepreneurial career, Arik served in the Israeli army for 10 years in the Talpiot Project and later as an Israeli Air Force officer. https://www.linkedin.com/in/arikcz/

2. Prof. Sarit Kraus (Ph.D. Computer Science, Hebrew University, 1989) is a Professor of Computer Science at Bar-Ilan University and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland. Her research is focused on intelligent agents and multi-agent systems (including people and robots).
   Kraus was awarded the IJCAI Computers and Thought Award, ACM SIGART Agents Research award, the EMET prize and was twice the winner of the IFAAMAS influential paper award. She is AAAI, ECCAI and ACM fellow and a recipient of the advanced ERC grant. http://u.cs.biu.ac.il/~sarit/
