While we are not currently in a recession, we believe it is smart to prepare for the next one. In fact, every day that goes by we get one day closer to the next one. It could be years or maybe months down the road, but we all know that the markets work in cycles, and while we can not accurately predict where we are in the cycle, we can look for clues and prepare for the next one.

We thought this would be a good topic to discuss, and will be sharing our best tips on how to build a recession proof investment portfolio, along with the different property types that make for the best recession proof assets, and some different areas that are very consistent - far from the boom & bust cities where values imploded during the last recession.

We'll also share about some niche investment options, including:

• Mobile Home Parks
• Housing for People With Disabilities
• Boarding Homes

We'll also be sharing a few investment opportunities in the local Western WA market, and a few in other markets out of state like: Oklahoma City, Atlanta, Nashville, Indianapolis, Dallas, Spokane (It's sorta like another state over there) and others.
