Excited to announce the second meetup & what a lineup we have for you! AI is currently being used across the world to help advance medical diagnosis & treatments. Our 1st speaker is Dr. Jonathan Hall from Life Whisperer – an award winning, med-tech startup. Jonathan will provide an overview of Life Whisperer, outcomes of clinical studies, along with a system demo.

Our second speaker is Beth Worrall from Microsoft. Beth leads the National Skills Program, which is tasked with helping build Australia's future-ready workforce. Given the impact AI & emerging tech is having on jobs of the future, Beth brings valuable insights into addressing the gaps in digital skills along with how Microsoft is supporting AI start-ups. Beth will present on "AI & the Future of Work – a case for cautious optimism."

We're also thrilled to announce the University of Adelaide: Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML) as a new sponsor for this event – huge thanks to AIML for their support.

AiLab is proud to organise & sponsor the AAI Meetup. Our goal is to help support & build a diverse, inclusive & informed AI community in a friendly & fun format.
