At the beginning of this event Sharon Zivkovic (Inaugural Chair of the South Australian Social Enterprise Council & other hats) will give an update on Australia's National Social Enterprise Strategy. Followed by a Q&A.

Then this online event will be a Q&A between Emily Humphreys (CEO of Wicked Lab) and Sharon Zivkovic.

Emily will be asking Sharon a range of questions including:

  • What was the cause of the failure of Australia's first social entrepreneurs network?

  • What are the recommended entrepreneurial ecosystem principles that address the first networks failure?

  • Why is taking a complex adaptive systems approach now being recommended by entrepreneurial ecosystem experts (See Brad Feld & Ian Hathaway's new book 'The Startup Community Way: Evolving an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem' - Brad Feld was in Adelaide last year as a speaker at SouthStart), and

  • How can social entrepreneurial ecosystems address the impact that Covid-19 is having on communities?

At the end of the Q&A between Emily & Sharon, Members of Adelaide Social Enterprise attending the event will be able to ask further questions.
